So, I followed an interesting tutorial on YouTube by the Wayward Art Company, of whom I give great thanks, and this is the end result. I have added the music, courtesy of Bensound, under common creatives licence, and the animating is not actually part of the tutorial, but is a great way of showing part of the result. I still have to learn load more about lighting and rendering, but then I am only a noob at Blender.
Okay, he's still without his fur, but I learnt loads from part 4 - the longest part so far; 45 minute tutorial, but as I keep pausing the video whilst I catch up it takes a lot longer. There are 9 parts in total, so I am almost half way through. Part 4 of this fantastic tutorial can be found here: https://youtu.be/dtCT76nhhT0
So, part 3 consisted of some technical stuff, behind the scenes so to speak, so there isn't really much to see from my having completed this part of the tutorial. Part 4 consists of getting the textures ready, so there may, or may not, be more to see after the next tutorial.
I'm following along to some Blender tutorials by Wayward Art Company. Currently, I am a third of the way through part two. I'm finding the more tutorials I follow along too, the more I remember from previous ones. Great fun!
